“Make a Difference as a Customer Service Specialist – Help People and Fight Food Waste!”
Help customers in the Netherlands and Belgium have smooth, positive experiences while reducing food waste. As our Part-time Customer Service Specialist, you’ll be the friendly, efficient problem-solver across email and chat.
No prior experience? No problem! If you have strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset, we’ll provide training to get you up to speed with all things customer support.
Practicalities
- Part-time, 12–24 hours per week
- Fixed day on Monday; other day(s) by agreement.
- Working hours 09:00–17:00 (no evenings or weekends).
- Option to increase up to 40 hours/week during holiday periods.

We’re on a simple mission: fight food waste and help people save money.
Born in 2016 as a one-person garage project, Foodello–Fiksuruoka has grown into a team of 50+ energetic, international colleagues working across Finland, the Netherlands, and Belgium. Every day, we rescue surplus food that might otherwise be thrown away, from products with a new package design to batches that were simply overproduced. Instead of going to waste, these items get a second life in our online store at a great price.
Together with our customers and suppliers, we’ve already saved 15 million kilos of good food from going to waste. And we’re only just getting started.
