Procurement Specialist / Buyer (FMCG)

• Source products and negotiatewith dozens of supplierswith the aimto improveour selection.
• Partner with suppliers to strengthen collaborations, scale our impact, and continuously improve our service.
• Make smart purchasing and pricing decisions driven by data and our in-house tools.
• Collaborate closelywith other stakeholders such as Marketing or our external warehouse partner.
• Contribute to the continuous development of our tools and processes.

• Up to 2 years of working experience from procurement, sales, account management or  a similar commercial type of role: You carry strong interest in the grocery and FMCG industry. Ideally you are passionate about reducing food waste.
• Commercial drive: you bring enthusiasm for building strong supplier relationships.You are a problem solver with the ability to identify and tackle risks and opportunities.
• Data-driven mindset: you enjoy working with data, turning insights into smart purchasing and pricing decisions, and have strong spreadsheet capabilities.
• Negotiation skills:  seal the deal, while building and maintaining long-term supplier partnerships.
• Collaboration skills:  strong team player who enjoys working cross-functionally.
• Digital skills: know your way around Microsoft Excel. 
• Education:  higher education degree in a technical, commercial, or similar field (other relevant qualifications also considered).
• Language skills: preferably fluent in Dutch, with strong written and spoken English skills (our internal company language).
